CES 2017 and Intel brings some fresh developments and a new range of computing device, though technically it is the old one getting way better with the help of the latest technology. To be exact, Intel announced in CES 2017 that its new NUCs or Next Unit of Computing, models are going to get a darker casing and they will, not all, be equipped with Thunderbolt 3 ports. And the mini NUCs with get Intel Kaby Lake CPU. These versions will also have the capacity to use Intel’s upcoming Optane storage technology.
The new NUCs will have the latest Kaby Lake CPU, the 7th generation of Intel’s Core processing technology. Out of the five, the smaller two NUCs will get either a Core i3 or i5 CPU. The rest three will have either an i3, i5, or i7 processor.
The Core i5 and Core i7 versions of Intel NUCs with Kaby Lake CPU will give 65 percent faster 3D performance than Iris Pro graphics. The Core i5 and Core i7 versions will also be able to use Thunderbolt 3 port to connect Alienware Graphics Amplifier or Razer Core. Now this will help you get an external graphics solution and make it excellent for gamers.
