Intel’s Project Alloy VR headset unveiled at CES 2017. Project Alloy headset is still in development. However took the CES 2017 to present a working prototype of the headset. So we get another device in the VR world.
The Intel Project Alloy VR headset will have a built-in battery. So it will not require to be connected to a PC for it to work. It will be able to replicate and project the replica of a room in the VR headset.
Intel made it clear that the company will license the technology to other manufacturing companies. It won’t be manufacturing it by itself.
