Joining a clan is a great way for you to keep tied up in a community which plays the game regularly allowing you to arrange Fireteams for many things.
To join a clan from the game, open up the Roster menu and search for someone who is already in the clan you want to join. From there, you can send the join request. Or you can also ask a clan person to send you a URL link for that Clan’s browser page and you can go over to that page to send the request from there.
There are a few clan banner perks too. Depending on your clan’s performance, you get various benefits as follows.

- Level 2 – Gain additional Glimmer when looting engrams.
- Level 3 – Increases public events rewards.
- Level 4 – Enhances rewards from removing Cabal enemies.
- Level 5 – Chance of receiving reputation tokens increases when completing the Nightfall, Raid, and Trials.
- Level 6 – Chance of receiving an engram increases when completing playlist activities with a clan member.

- Successfully complete a Patrol mission – 250XP
- Successfully complete a story mission – 500XP
- Successfully complete Crucible games – 500XP (any mode, win or loss)
- Successfully complete a Public Event – 500XP (only if in a Fireteam)
- Successfully complete an Adventure – 500XP
