When you are playing as Jason, follow these tips.

1. Search the house and the barn for counselors and kill them.
2. Be wary of traps at the entrance of the barn or the house.
3. Use teleport ability to reach a destination quickly.
4. Then use the shift ability to get close to your target and the sense ability to know the location of your targets.
5. Use these abilities wisely as they have a cooldown period before you can use them again.
6. You can not get in the house from the window so wait until the counselors are outside the house or quickly run inside the house.
7. The counselors can be pulled from the car window if they are trying to escape.
8. You need to kill everyone within 20 minutes so do not waste your time running after just one person. Make sure to atleast get a couple of them together.

When playing as one of the counselors, follow these tips.

1. As soon as the game starts, quickly run to one of the rooms.
2. Find a walky-talky in the drawer to communicate with the rest of the counselors.
3. The phone is outside the house, with a blinking red light. Use it to call the police.
4. You need to search for a car key, gas and battery to power the car to use it.
5. Distract Jason by using the radio.
6. Use the pocket knife found in the drawer to get free from Jason’s hold if he grabs you.
7. You will know Jason is nearby when the background music changes.
8. When Jason is using his shift ability near you, grainy flickers will appear on your screen.
9. Run in the opposite direction as soon as Jason attacks you.
10. There is a med spray in the graveyard.
11. Search for gas and propeller to escape in the boat.
