Nintendo announced the mini-NES today, a $60 game console that’s a miniature version of the classic Nintendo Entertainment System, that comes packed with 30 pre-installed 8-bit games. These are classics from the system like all 3 Super Mario Bros., the original Legend of Zelda and Zelda II, Metroid, Mega-Man 2 and many more.
The machine comes with an HDMI cable, a power adapter, and an NES Classic Controller, which will be a modern controller but designed with the same pattern as the classic NES controller.
It will be available in stores November 11. Along with Pokemon Go, this could finally put Nintendo in a good financial place as they gear up for the release of their next system, the NX, in March of 2017.
