Yosuke Saito and Eijiro Nishimura, who are the producers of NieR Automata, confirmed that there will be a difference between PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro versions. It was expected and was quite obvious. Digital Foundry has made an analysis video about the game’s demo, demonstrating the visuals and performance differences.
The video mainly highlights the graphical difference. The PS4 version seems to be running at 900p with poor anti-aliasing, low texture filtering while the PS4 Pro version enjoys 1080p resolution with superior anti-aliasing and better texture filtering. Talking about the frames per second both versions of the game runs at 60FPS. But dips below 50s when a visual heavy scene occurs. You can watch the video below.
