Nintendo Switch Will be Getting Major Kickstarter Game Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night; Confirmed By Developer

With the Nintendo Switch being released a few weeks back, the game library is still very tiny. But, if you’re a fan of story driven, Japanese style RPGS, you’re in luck because Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is coming to the Nintendo Switch.

The initial release date for the game is set in early 2018, still some time left but it is confirmed to be coming to the platform.

The developer Koji Igarashi initially planned on releasing it on the WII U as well but because of popularity of the device, planned on releasing it for the Switch, and apologized to the WII U backers of the project.

In an update for the Kickstarter project he said:

“This change made it difficult to receive the necessary support from the hardware maker, which has led us to drop the Wii U development and shift the development to Nintendo Switch.”

This game is also available for the PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita and will be made available -according to Kickstarter description- in early 2018.
