Not long ago AMD just released a FreeSync 2 technology for Gaming monitors. And to compete with its rival, Nvidia announced G-Sync HDR for high-end gaming monitors. When Asus first launched PG27UQ which the name suggests is a gaming monitor, it hinted something is coming from Nvidia.
Many of you might be familiar with Nvidia G-Sync but what is G-Sync HDR? It is similar to AMD FreeSync 2 which will provide gamers the experience of HDR without screen tearing and shutters.
Along with that other features will also be available which includes 384-zone backlights and Quantum dot technology. Also the G-Sync HDR displays will feature colorspace 25% larger than sRGB.
