The latest update has hit the public test realm and there are a lot of major updates to Lucio, the lovable support hero.
Most of Lucio’s abilities in Overwatch have been buffed; now allowing him to aid his whole team at a time.
- AOE (area of effect) of his Crossfade ability has been greatly reduced from 30 meters to only 10 meters.
- His healing song hp restore is now increased by 50%
- A new temporary visual affect has been added to visualize his song, allowing new players to learn when the ability has been cast.
- Sound Barrier range drop from 30 to 20 meters.
- Projectile speed increase from 30 to 50
- wall riding now provides him 30 percent movement speed boost
These updates are major changes have been observed, essentially disruption the meta. Lucio has gotten more buffs than debuffs, making him a more viable support hero.
