Resident Evil 7 Denuvo DRM Cracked Within A Week of Release

Gone are the days when Denuvo DRM was a thing. The new Disk Rights Management software promised to protect the software from any kinds of tampering. This seems to be not the case anymore. Resident Evil 7 Denuvo DRM cracked in just a week after the release.

Over the past few months, games using Denuvo DRM like Inside, DOOM, Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst and Rise of the Tomb Raider have already been cracked. The latest victim is the survival horror title from Capcom,  Resident Evil 7 Denuvo DRM cracked within a very short period of time.

Resident Evil 7 was cracked within 5 days of release and that’s a new record. Does this start a new age of video game piracy? Let us know your views on this.
