StarCraft Remastered News; Coming in Summer with 4K Resolution Support

There had been a lot of rumors that Blizzard is working on a remastered version of StarCraft, which recently turned out to be true. The remastered game will be out in summer this year and will be available for Windows PC and Macs.

The graphical overhaul of the game is the most prominent feature of the game. But, as rumored earlier the game will not feature any major gameplay changes from the original game. There will be better textures, models and support for 4k in StarCraft Remastered.

StarCraft is a pure distillation of Blizzard’s DNA—its story, its balance, and all the little details reflect our long-running commitment to epic entertainment, and it’s been a staple in competitive gaming and esports for almost 20 years. With StarCraft Remastered, we’re modernizing the original game’s visuals, audio, and online support to ensure that players can enjoy StarCraft for another 20 years and beyond.

The developer has also promised an improved, reworked soundtrack for the game and better story narration using comic-like cutout pieces.

StarCraft Remastered is the overhaul of the original strategy game which was released back in 1998 and is available as an exclusive for PCs and Macs.
