Xbox Scorpio is Microsoft‘s upcoming gaming console which aims to deliver games at a native 4K resolution, until recently, we had no news of when the official specifications of the console may get released but it may be next week, according to a major retailer, which had visited the company for the details on the console.
What we know about the console so far:
- Xbox Scorpio will dish out 6 TeraFlops of computing power, almost equivalent to a PC GTX 1070 Graphics card
- 12 GB DDR5 Memory versus Xbox One’s 8GB DDR3 and 32MB of static ESRAM to bridge performance gaps
- Compact, sleeker design and better cooling
- Internal power supply
While this console is an extremely ambitious attempt to bring consoles to the higher-end; performance wise, we will see what it’s capable of upon release.
