Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is one of the latest RPGs for the Nintendo platforms and what makes it great is that it adds a very good RPG allure this time around. You have a large open world to explore and, as you can see from the trailer, the title does look astonishing.
The trailer does a very good job at showing the exploration part of the game, which is really nice. There’s always something new to see and explore, there are lots of great features to have and the experience on its own was some of the best out there. In the case of unique gameplay mechanics, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 does a very good job at making the experience unlike anything you have ever seen.
The combat in here seems intimidating. If you see the trailer, you basically see buttons everywhere in the interface. But it’s not that hard to play at all. Yes, you will have to wait for the meters to fill so you can have faster and better attacks, but the entire experience as a whole is really neat and distinct. It shines quite a lot and in the end it’s one of those things that you are bound to enjoy.
Once you see the trailer, you will also enjoy the unique characters shown here. The game is absolutely stunning and it also manages to offer a good array of characters that you will enjoy quite a lot. It really is one of the better ways to expand the game, by bringing in a sense of fun and great character mechanics that really work. That, combined with the distinct attention to detail and unique weapons does offer a lot of value to the experience.
The graphics are not really impressive, but then again this is not a PS4 or Xbox game. It comes on the Nintendo platforms, so obviously you need to have the right expectations. Also, the anime style may put some people off. Yet on the other hand, this is one of the main selling points for the game, which is to be expected. The game world seems large from the trailer, but at the same time you can imagine that there will be some copy and paste designs like they had in the first one.
They are expanding the game world to new heights and at the same time you will see that there are some new game worlds for you to uncover. The trailer offers just a glimpse at the potential offered by the game, and that’s what makes it really nice. It doesn’t put anything in your face directly. It offers a sense of value and character that does flesh out very well.
There are lots of things that you can’t see in the trailer though. Sure, the exploration is there, but fighting and shopping are rather scarce. But there are some new blades too, according to the developers. Those aren’t showcased either. That doesn’t matter a lot though as the experience is more than great and the simple attention to detail and great facts really make this stand out of the crowd.
Overall, the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 trailer is a masterpiece and one of the best trailers from Nintendo. It’s informative, it has lots of stuff in it and in the end it’s just a lot of fun. It really is one of the best titles that we expect from Nintendo, and thankfully it will be released very soon. Of course, there are still some issues, which we explained above. But in the end, it’s up to the main release of the game to show us the truth! We will come back with more information about the game as it gets closer to release!
