StarCraft Gets New Maps Courtesy of Korean Presidential Election Candidate

The original StarCraft went free quite recently along with the 1.18 patch for the game. It may be bizarre that a Presidential Election Candidate in Korea is offering some free maps for the game as a part of the election campaign.

Dotesports reported that Moon jae-in, the member of the Minjoo party released maps named after him called “Moonsters” which are a tweaked version of the original maps with slight improvements.

Through this is quite unusual for the rest of the world, Korea has a very video game rich environment and this may just be a publicity “stunt” to bring more of the youth towards voting for him.
