PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Zeroing Distance

In PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds or PUBG, has a system for how you aim the long-range shots at enemies. PUBG has Zeroing Distance and Bullet Drop as the mechanisms for long-range shooting with a sniper rifle specifically. Now here are talking about Zeroing. This is understanding how to vertically compensate for how far the target is. Let’s see how this works and what we can do to increase Zeroing in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.

Zeroing Distance in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds

For adjusting the zeroing distance of your weapon’s scope, use the Page up and Page down keys. Zeroing distance of the rifles’ scopes by default adjusted to a distance of 100m. So if your enemy is at a distance of 100m and you aim, then the enemy will be hit by the bullet at the exact point where you aimed. However if the enemy is at 200m from you and you aim, then the bullet will hit slightly lower than the point you aimed for resulting in Bullet Drop.

It is better to keep the Zeroing distance to the default, so that you learn to adjust and aim at targets located at a greater distance.

Therefore in order to get to the enemy at 200m,

  • You need to aim the sights somewhat higher for compensating the time the bullet takes to travel.
  • Adjust the zeroing on the scope to 200m.

Either of the above two will help you shot the target you aim for, but the second will be a definite case.
