AMD has been gearing up for the release of its Ryzen based CPUs later this year. Along with this, a new Vega GPU lineup has also been planned for release.
The Vega GPU lineup from AMD is targeted to PC enthusiasts and will be released in Q2 2017. This means that they will be available from sometime around April and June. The release window was confirmed by CEO Lisa Su in an investor’s call yesterday.
On the other hand, the Ryzen lineup of CPUs will arrive sooner. “I think we have Ryzen launching in early March”, said Su at the meeting. The Ryzen lineup is expected to be available in 4-core and 8-core variants.
