Assassin’s Creed 3 & Far Cry 4 Director Leaves Ubisoft

Ubisoft Veteran Alex Hutchinson has reportedly left Ubisoft to create his own game studio – he has also directed two of the best Ubisoft video games, Far Cry 4 and Assassin’s Creed 3.

He says he’s happy of what he has achieved in the company but is going to create his own studio called Typhoon Studios, “Extremely proud of all we achieved on Far Cry and Assassins but very excited to build something new.” He’s joined by former EA and Warner Brother’s producer Reid Schneider and a few other people.

Though he said that they won’t be releasing a new game anytime soon; they are working on exciting games for the future.

Hutchinson has a good portfolio, he’s worked with EA on many popular games such as Army of Two: 40 Days, Spore and The Sims. We are excited of what he and his new studio concocts next.
