Activision has launched Black Ops 3 Zombies update. Also a release date have been fixed for the upcoming Call of Duty DLC, Awakening. The DLC contains four multiplayer maps, Skyjacked, Splash, Rise, and Gauntlet. The update continues the Giant saga.
The update for Black Ops 3 Zombies arrives on March 3 for Xbox One. However the date for PC and PS4 release has not yet been announced. The DLC will not be available on PS3 or Xbox 360.
There is a new range of GobbleGums for adding new challenges. Some of the information reported till now are:
Der Eisendrache will bring Takeo, Richtofen, Nikolai, and Dempsey to a medieval castle in the Austrian mountains, where mystery and the undead hordes await.
Players won’t go unaided in their fight for survival—Awakening introduces new tools for dispatching zombies, including a brand new set of GobbleGums.
There are four new GobbleGums in total, which can be crafted in Dr. Monty’s Factory and can be used not only in Der Eisendrache, but also Shadows of Evil and The Giant bonus map.
The four new GobbleGums include:
- Undead Man Walking: All zombies slow to walking speed.
- Crawl Space: All zombies within 50 feet become crawlers.
- Head Drama: Any bullet which hits a zombie damages its head.
- Fatal Contraption: Spawn a Death Machine power up.
