Bad new today, CyanogenMod is shutting down along with all the services it was offering. Every Android fan out their probably knows what CyanogenMod is. But if you don’t let us tell you that CyanogenMod is an aftermarket custom ROM that offered custom ROMs of Android with additional cool features.
Though it was kinda expected after seeing Steve Kondik, losing his position as CEO of the company. That really shook up CyanogenMod and which has now led to the shutdown of Cyanogen on 31st December 2016.
As part of the ongoing consolidation of Cyanogen, all services and Cyanogen-supported nightly builds will be discontinued no later than 12/31/16. The open source project and source code will remain available for anyone who wants to build CyanogenMod personally.
