Following the Disney Infinity cancellation, fans were left wondering for how long they’d be able to keep enjoying the Disney action-adventure. They should play the game now because it won’t be for long: an email sent out to Toy Box builders confirmed today that the Disney Infinity servers will be shutting down in March 2017.
All online services and support will be discontinued on March 3, and as of Friday, July 29th, gamers playing on PC, Steam, iOS, Android and Apple TV will no longer be able to make in-game purchases. Following that, on September 30th, the Infinity Community Team will stop approving new Toy Boxes.
It’s a downhill road from here until the Disney Infinity Servers shut down completely early next year. Anyone who wants to play the game should do so quite rapidly.
