The latest game in the Far Cry series franchise releases this week: Far Cry Primal.
While this game is not about liberating oppressed villagers with an AK and homemade petrol bombs, Far Cry Primal offers a different aspect and outlook to the franchise.
It is a single player spin-off set in a historical land. Though some elements like crafting weapons and battling animals are central to the game and will seem familiar to players, some things which were in the previous Far Cry games wont be there in this one. Ubisoft must surely be hoping the new setting will envigorate the series.
This game will not support co-op gameplay so it is a strictly solo and storyline-heavy game. Here is a round-up by some of the critics:-
