Developed by The Coalition and published by Microsoft Studios, Gears Of War 4 is the fifth installment in the Gears Of War franchise despite the title. It is the first entry to not be developed by Epic Games. The game is a third-person shooter game and it is currently available for Microsoft Windows and Xbox One. It was released on 11 October 2016.
There are several bosses the player encounters in the single player version of the game. Each one has its own set of strengths and weaknesses. Even the smallest and weakest of the bosses can prove difficult to handle if you are not knowing how to deal with it.
This guide will show how to defeat the boss – The Snatcher.
Gears Of War 4 Boss Fight The Snatcher
This boss appears in Act 3, Chapter 6 and is quite a formidable foe, having all of the abilities of The Pouncer and more. Its deadly quill attack can down any squad member instantly so avoid it at all costs. Revive any downed member if necessary.
If you are downed and if you aren’t revived in time, the boss can engulf you or flee the area resulting in a failed mission.
If a downed team-mate has been engulfed, shoot the boss’ orange abdomen. That will force the boss to spit out your downed team mate.
Be wary of the toxic it spits on the ground. Be careful of its ground pound attack too.
To kill it, concentrate all your firepower on its orange abdomen and keep a good distance away from it. There is a Boomshot near one of the pods which is highly useful against this boss.
