Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy

Guardians of the Galaxy Brings Adventure, Fierce Fights and 70’s Songs with Excellent Graphics

Square Enix has unveiled a real treat for Marvel fans. Guardians of the Galaxy game will arrive in the gaming world thanks to Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. The developers for the game is Eidos-Montreal and publisher is Square Enix. This brand new Marvel game is already available for pre-order and will release on October 26, 2021, for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S and PC. Announced during Square Enix’s E3 2021 Showcase, the game’s first trailer offers a first look at the gameplay and storyline.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Plot

Described as “a cheeky third-person single-player adventure with a strong narrative component,” in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, players take on the role of Star-Lord / Peter Quills as he traverses the Galaxy with Groot, Gomorrah, Drax, Rocket, and Mantis. In the game, Peter will always be accompanied by the Guardians, who will act automatically governed by artificial intelligence.

Inspired by comics, this unique interpretation of the Guardians of the Galaxy will allow players to experience a turbulent journey through the stars, during which Peter Quill and the Guardians unknowingly become the first and only line of defense in the Galaxy.

In dealing with the new enemies, you can explore new lines of dialogue and deepen the relationship with the crew, discovering nuances and traits of the Guardians’ personalities touched only in the comics.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Gameplay

Guardians of the Galaxy learn a little bit of Marvel’s Avenger gameplay and make it more dynamic, fluid, and fun.

In the fighting, every single member of the crew will be vital. The damage will be done with your protagonist from planet Earth. The team’s attacks will have devastating effects and will be able to revive the outcomes of the battles.

You will notice a good balance of fights and enemies. Thanks to above all to very performing builds that you can study in a good half hour.

In the game, you will have access to the workbench. It is where Rocket will use the various (and abundant) drops scattered around the map to upgrade the equipment. You will be able to invest “battle points” to enhance many skills both of Star-Lord and members.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Skills

All the Star-Lord’s skills are easily accessible. But beyond that, you will have the opportunity to enhance them through accessories crafted by Rocket on the workbenches scattered throughout the levels. In this way, you can not obtain new skills but only enhance those already obtained by adding secondary effects or improving those already present. So crafting becomes a completely lateral element that allows you to refine the gaming experience without being essential to overcoming any obstacle.

The Guardians of the Galaxy are a very close-knit group. When things get tough, Star-Lord can immediately summon a Rally during battle. To do it, you need to load a dedicated bar (the momentum bar).

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Graphics and Soundtrack

Graphic engine: it will run well on your PS4. It will run even better on the NextGen. Graphically, don’t expect a game that shouts at the polygonal miracle. The environments remain very accurate, especially in the details.

One of the elements that made the Guardians of the Galaxy film so successful among audiences was its soundtrack, full of songs from the 70s. That’s why the game has licensed music, and that is always when they start playing. It will make players want to go after them and listen later. The game’s sound work was well done, with quality voiceovers and loaded with personalities.
