Death Stranding Crash Fix

If your PC fulfill the minimum system requirement given above here is what you can do to counter the crash issues.

Verify Integrity of Game Files
It is possible that sometimes due to network connectivity issue or some other cause the game files get corrupted or are not downloaded properly. This may cause problem in even launching the game. So it is always good to verify the game file integrity. For this in steam client go to library and right click on the game and open properties. Then select local files and then click Verify Integrity of Game Files.

The next thing to do for the game crash issue is to update the graphics drivers. Go to start then control panel. Look for Device Manager and open it. Now in Device Manager look for Display Adapters. Expand it to see the systems graphics card listed. Right click on it and from the menu that comes up click Update Drivers.

Another important thing to consider is whether the antivirus on your system is interfering with the game or not. It is observed many times that anti-virus application report steam game as malicious. However it is not true. But due to this you may get connection issues. There can be trouble in launching the game. To avoid all this here is what you need to do set the antivirus to game mode. This is good if you see no more issues. But if you still get the same problem then it is best to disable it before you launch steam.

Death Stranding Low FPS

Well it will be very difficult to play a game with a very low FPS. So to get the required performance to actually enjoy the game, it is best to adjust the graphics settings and lower it down just enough to not mess up the overall graphics. To get the best outcome in case of performance issues, make sure to turn off anti-aliasing and see if the game is running smooth. It will lower the quality with jagged edges, but as long as it is playable at a decent fps, it is worth it.

Death Stranding Black Screen Issue

Black screen in the middle of the game is not what anyone wants. The main cause behind this usually the graphics drivers. Now one way is to update these drivers. The steps are given above. But if the issue still persists, uninstall and download the latest ones and install. Here are the steps. Open Device Manager and look for Display Adapter, expand and right on the graphics card and click Uninstall. Next step is to get the latest drivers from your graphics card manufacturer’s website. So download and install it.

More issues and their fixes and workarounds will be added as and when they come up. Till then enjoy gaming.
