Robbie’s Research Quest
Now, onto the quest. The Akkala Ancient Tech Lab is in the most north-eastern part of the map within the Akkala region. Speak to Purah in the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab and show her a photo of yourself. Now, Robbie’s research quest is available. Now, go to the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab and speak to Robbie. He will ask to identify yourself. Remove all of your clothing and talk to him again. Now, he ll identify you with the scars on your body and you will now need to carry the blue flame with a torch to light the furnace.
Get the torch on the side of the lab. Go outside. There are many enemies along the way along with a Guardian. Before carrying the torch, go from the lab to the source of the blue flame defeating every enemy on the way so that you get a clear path once you are carrying the torch. You will find the source near Tech Lab, to the east of it on the of the hill. Light the torch and on the way back, light every lantern to sustain the flame on the torch. Once you reach the furnace, light it with the blue flame and the Lab will be unlocked as a Fast Travel option.
Then you need to get back and talk to Robbie one more time. Then you will be able to buy the ancient armour set from him. Make sure you have all the required items and rupees with you.
