Bioware’s Mass Effect Andromeda is the fourth entry in Mass Effect series. However it has a completely different story compared to the other games. Here you play as Sara or Scott Ryder, join the Andromeda Initiative. You will take the role of an inexperienced military recruit. To disable Motion blur, follow the steps.

  1. Go to the installation directory of the game. By default, for Origin, it is C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect Andromeda
  2. Right Click, select New and then Text Document.
  3. Rename this document to user.cfg (Replace the extension .txt with .cfg to make it a windows configuration file).
  4. Open this file in Notepad or Notepad++ and add this line – WorldRender.MotionBlurEnable 0
  5. Save the file and quit.

This makes the necessary graphical changes in the game to get rid of the motion blur. To improve FPS performance, use the following two lines as well.

  • WorldRender.LightTileCsPathEnable 0
