We told you yesterday that Digital Foundry found the PS4 Pro version of Skyrim: Special Edition (Skyrim Remastered) had some framerate issues while running at native 4K. As it turns out, the problem isn’t exclusive to Bethesda’s game.
Digital Foundry also found this problem on The Last of Us Remastered. While playing at native 4K, the framerate dips below 30 at times. It’s not a huge issue, especially considering Naughty Dog’s zombie adventure is one of the best looking games available and 4K and HDR only enhance that. But, that said, it would be nice to have an option that locks the game at 60 frames per second no matter what, downgrading some visual fidelity when it needs to. A lot of PCs do that – but alas, it can’t be done on the PS4 Pro.
