This game was released on 13 Sep 2016 for Xbox One and PC. An action adventure shooter game, it features different robots with the protagonist being Joule along with her robotic companions who aid her in combat and puzzle solving. Recore also features upgrade tiers with attack and defense categories. The player must collect blueprints and materials to access and unlock these upgrades.
This guide will talk about the most elementary part of the game that is the corebots.
Corebots are robots created by humans as a work force unit for the purpose of terraforming New Eden into a habitable planet. Corebots of all types were designed by Thomas Adams who is the father of Joule, the main protagonist in the game.
All was going smooth until for reasons unknown, a Corebot named Viktor went rogue and started a revolution to stop the terraforming process and to kill all humans.
In the game, most robots are allied with Viktor so Joule, along with her corebot companions must fight her way through.
The color of corebots determine their combat abilities. A robot with a certain color is weak to Joule’s rifle ammo of that same color. A few corebots possess more than one primary color and can swap them as and when necessary. As Joule ventures further and further into Far Eden, the corebots get tougher and tougher. There is a white arrow on the health bar of each hostile corebot which indicates when Joule can try and extract that corebot’s core.
Below is a list of all the rogue corebots in the game.
