This game was released on 13 Sep 2016 for Xbox One and PC. An action adventure shooter game, it features different robots with the protagonist being Joule along with her robotic companions who aid her in combat and puzzle solving. Recore also features upgrade tiers with attack and defense categories. The player must collect blueprints and materials to access and unlock these upgrades.
This game includes crafting methods to improve certain parts of Joule’s robotic companions. This crafting guide will show how to craft these upgrades.
Crafting Robotic Companions in Recore
When interacting with the workbench, the important thing to note is that there are three main crafting menus.
Recore Blueprint Crafting
The first of the three menus is the Blueprint Crafting menu. This menu allows the player to craft robotic frames depending upon the number and type of corebots the player has. Inside the menu will be the blueprints for the frame the player has collected thus far. View the individual parts to know about the bonuses in attack, defense, energy, shield and RNG bonuses that the part offers. The player then needs the materials required to make that part. There is also an option in the game which will notify the player when he/she has collected enough materials to craft a part.
Recore Corebot Section
The second menu is the Corebot Section. In this, the player chooses any of the main corebot companion frames and equip the parts the player has built onto that particular robotic companion. Sometimes, the player will have to pay an E-Turner cost to install these parts and other times, a discount may be obtained by recycling parts.
Recore Core Fusion Section
The third and final menu is the Core Fusion Section. It includes details about the core of the corebot companions. The player can use this menu to increase the base powers of the companion by adding fusion from cores and shards collected in the game. The three companions have their unique base stats of attack, defense and energy and using this section will increase their levels bit by bit. As the levels of these stats increase, the cost of fusion will increase too.
