Capcom announced the next installment in the horror shooter franchise, Resident Evil VII during Sony’s conference at E3 2016. Capcom showed off an exclusive gameplay from the game which featured the player waking up inside a dilapidated cottage on an ominous plantation mansion.
Unlike the previous game, Resident Evil VII is set in rural America and uses an all new RE Engine developed by Capcom. The game won’t feature quick-time events.
PlayStation Plus subscribers can play the E3 demo right now by downloading it from the PS Store. The Resident Evil 7 Teaser: Beginning Hour demo is sized 2.7 GB on PS4.

Resident Evil VII will be released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on January 24, 2017.
