Retake Vatican From the Undead In World War Z Aftermath

Saber Interactive is decidedly busy right now, but do not forget all the titles that made it know the success in recent years, especially World War Z. The title was present during IGN Summer of Gaming and now Saber Interactive is ready to present its new version of World War Z Aftermath. It will add new features in addition to arriving on next-gen.

World War Z Aftermath is a cooperative first-person shooter with horror elements based on the Hollywood movie “World War Z.” The co-op campaign is designed for four players and tells unique stories of survival worldwide after the zombie apocalypse. You have to act tactically wisely, using traps, barriers, and environments to stay alive. There are several types of weapons to choose from, which will help to cope with entire hordes of undead.

An improved version

If you thought that a game would not receive any notable updates several years after its release, Saber Interactive would teach you better. Because the update delivers pretty much everything that World War Z players could wish for:

This new version, therefore, includes new characters and revises its melee combat system. You can see it in the new trailer, with the possibility of wielding two weapons simultaneously. Another main novelty, a first-person view mode will be present.

World War Z Aftermath is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One, as well as PS5 and Xbox Series. If you already own the base game on older generations, you will need to checkout again ($ 19.99) to enjoy Aftermath because this version will include all of the content from the Game of The Year Edition and all the new features.

The next-gen versions will run in 4K and 60 fps and be entitled to a new mode called Horde XL. This mode will also be present on PC and will allow you to have hundreds of zombies that will sweep over you thanks to the power of these machines.

Right now, only the PC, PS4, and Xbox One versions are planned for this year. These versions will be optimized for next-gen, but the real PS5 and Xbox Series versions are scheduled for 2022 with a free upgrade (only if you own Aftermath, therefore).

World War Z is becoming a full-contact sport. Because the addon will implement a close combat system, of course, with an expanded arsenal of weapons, Among other things, there should be a live shield with which you can draw a path through the zombie masses.
