The Great Fairy Fountains are a familiar sight in the Zelda game series. They are the places to go for upgraded abilities in exchange for your loot and cash. This guide will show the locations of these great fairy fountains in the game.
The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Great Fairy Fountains Locations
Before we move on to the locations, you need to keep in mind that you need to donate a certain amount of Rupees to unlock each individual fountain.
- First Great Fairy Fountain – 100 Rupees
- Second Great Fairy Fountain – 500 Rupees
- Third Great Fairy Fountain – 1,000 Rupees
- Fourth Great Fairy Fountain – 10,000 Rupees
Each one unlocks a certain tier of upgrades. Each upgrade requires a specific loot such as plants or monster parts. Upgrade a certain set of armour twice within a set to unlock bonus abilities such as being able to withstand freezing, increased damage output, etc.
And here are the locations.
AKKALA (FAIRY KAYSA)
In the Akkala region, to the southeast area. When you see the map, you will locate it on the extreme right side. Then go to the Akkala Tower and from there you have to southeast. You will see Dah Hensho shrine on a cliff and go to its east to find the fountain.
DUELLING PEAKS (FAIRY COTERA)
Located very near to the first village Kakariko. Go right up the slope to find Taloh Naeg shrine. Then get to the east above the village Kakariko. There you will find the fountain.
GERUDO DESERT (FAIRY TERA)
Reach Gerudo Town and grab a Sand Seal from outside to travel across the sands. Go south-west and see the skeleton on the screen before the sandstorm comes. Go in that direction. The sandstorm will lift when you reach the skeleton and the fountain is underneath.
TABANTHA (FAIRY MIJA)
When you get to the easternmost part of the Tabantha region, and go south, you will will find this. In this place, get to the tower and look south and the fountain is on a small cliff further away.
