Developed as a language learning app., Duolingo brings a very interactive method of teaching spoken languages. People can choose from a variety of languages such as English, German, Spanish, Greek, Hebrew etc. It also provides the option of learning a language from another language as well such as Spanish from French, or French from Portuguese etc. The app provides simple small-sized lessons based on listening and speaking the words through identifying images and contemplating the context out of them. The app also allows us to speak sentences and based on that it analyses our pronunciation and gives us a progress rating. Combining these two techniques along with a super user-friendly interface and the cartoonish look makes learning spoken languages easier.

Developed by Mark Dimartino, Beta maniac is an app that helps you manage the beta programs of your apps. It even allows you to participate in a limited number beta programs. The app regularly scans for the beta programs of the apps that are already installed into the device. When a beta program is available, the app sends a notification indicating the availability of the beta program. A simple click subscribes to the programs.

You can filter out the list of all apps that are currently installed and the beta programs that are available for the apps are indicated via a blue tick mark. When a beta program has been subscribed the mark turns green. Best application platform for beta testers till date.
