Shooting and cover system in the game is fairly easy. Grenade throwing and using C4 is different and this guide will show how to use these two attacks in the game.
Tap the R1 button to throw grenades. This will just chuck the grenade in the direction Chloe is facing. For more accuracy, hold down the R1 button and aim where the grenade will land.
C4 is different. They can be lobbed by just a tap of R1 or can be aimed while holding down the same button. Once you stick a C4 to a surface, hit down on the D-Pad to make it explode. Make sure to maintain distance before firing off the C4. The enemies in the game are smart. They will get away if you chuck a grenade at them so do it only when they are distracted.
