Valve has been criticized over the years for having “horrible” user support. However, they have been working on it and the newest blog post shows the statistics for the number of support requests they receive, which turns out to be a lot.
Even though Valve is striving to improve their support services over the past several years but, with a massive load of over 75,000 requests a day, it’s a difficult task to control let alone make significant progress on.
They put out a statistics page which shows the number of requests they’ve received everyday over the last 90 days and the number of request which are still pending. You can watch that here.
This was most probably done for the purpose of transparency and to possible calm down the hordes of people complaining about their current system – these many requests are a problem for any company, no matter how big it is.
