Digital Foundry’s recent reveal about the Xbox Scorpio tells us that the Microsoft behemoth will support AMD FreeSync 2 and HDMI 2.1
While the HDMI 2.1 support is very ambitious, no TVs as of now support it; although it will allow developers to push their games higher than 30 FPS to a targeted range of 40 – 50 FPS.
We know the Xbox Scorpio’s Prowess – capable of running games at a native 4K with additional graphical improvement head room to spare, we will possibly be seeing a symphony of hardware and software communication for seeing Native 4k games, possibly higher than 30FPS.
Xbox Scorpio is estimated to arrive near the holiday season this year, for a price somewhere between $500 – $800.
