The Xbox Scorpio is the upcoming 4K console by Microsoft. Gamasutra announced their exclusive coverage for the console; we are finally seeing some of the first few looks at the console Developer kits.
Phil Spencer had a long Q&A and he answered some of the questions about the console, he also said that he himself and the team were actually surprised by the performance gains of the console.
While the console aims to deliver high-end 4K performance considerably cheap, the performance it has may actually be much better than we initially thought.
The Xbox Scorpio will be released at the end of this year during the holiday season, will feature 6 Teraflops of compute power Polaris Refresh GPU, an Eight-core custom CPU, 12 GB of GDDR5X memory. More specs here.
