XCOM 2 War Of The Chosen Guide: How To Beat Hunter
The hunter is a very active and mid-range enemy. He grapples around the map remaining out of reach. He uses area of concussion grenades or tranquilizer shots to abduct your soldiers. He can also use a tracking shot, which gives you one turn to break the line of sight before the hunter can take his shot.
Do not group soldiers closely together or it will be a prime target for the concussion grenade. Revive a dazed soldier in the same turn to avoid him getting captured. Once his tracking shot is activated, he can not move for one turn so use this chance to go near his position to eliminate him.
