Grand Theft Auto V Red Dead Redemption Mod Is Cancelled – Rockstar Pulls the Plug

If you were excited for the Red Dead Redemption map mod for GTA V, your dreams are about to be crushed. Rockster contacted the team responsible for spending three years developing the mod by porting the Xbox 360 version of Red Dead Redemption to GTA V.

The officer trailer for the mod was pulled down from YouTube and a few hours ago, Mr. Leisurewear the lead developer wrote on GTA forums that they got contacted by Rockstar and that the mod will no longer be proceeding.

I know this is a hard pill to swallow, but as you may have noticed we did get contacted and we sadly have to say we are stopping this project.
So thanks guys, we were all so happy to see this, but it isn’t going to happen, sorry.
