Prey is Bethesda’s upcoming first person RPG in which the player experiences the Talos-1 space station through the eyes of Morgan Yu. A one hour demo of the game was rolled out for both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One while there wasn’t one for the PC.
We did however, receive a confirmation on the system requirements as well as the advanced graphical settings for the game.
System Requirements for Prey:
Minimum:
- CPU: Intel i5-2400, AMD FX-8320
- GPU: GTX 660 2GB, AMD Radeon 7850 2GB
- Memory: 8 GB
Recommended:
- CPU: Intel i7-2600K, AMD FX-8350
- GPU: GTX 970 4GB, AMD R9 290 4GB
- Memory: 16 GB
Advanced graphical settings:
- Object Detail
- Shadow Quality
- Texture Quality
- Anisotropic Filtering

- Screen Space Reflections
As for the lack of demo for PC, we speculate it’s either because of the fact that a optimized version of the game wasn’t available for the PC or for other other technical reasons.
Prey will come out for Pc, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on 5th of may which is next month.
