Assassin’s Creed is trying to be the first videogame to have a decent movie. They usually fail to meet expectations either due to poor budget or for relying on a mediocre story to carry the product while the gameplay carries the videogame.
“We’re trying to make sure the DNA is respected”, said head of content for Assassin’s Creed Azaiza Aymar. “We want to make sure everything feels legit”.
Ubisoft wants to make sure they break the tradition with their movie which stars celebrated actor Michael Fassbender. The trailer certainly looks promising.
Assassin’s Creed follows Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender), part of the secret society of the Assassins, battling the “Templar” organization. It opens December 21, 2016 in North America.
