It seems CD Projekt Red is putting extra effort into the development of Cyberpunk 2077. Just a few months ago they were looking for a producer, and now the studio has shared on a post in their own forums that the development team for their new game has more people than The Witcher 3 had “in its most intensive month”.
They accomplished this by bringing in new talent. They didn’t just ask for a producer, last week on August 30 there were over 60 positions open posted on their website. If you looked through them, you’d see many of them were about creating vehicle-based gameplay, something The Witcher 3 didn’t have.
Cyberpunk 2077 is set in a dystopian future… not much else is known. It’s still early in development and it’s aiming to release anywhere between 2017 and 2021.
