Naora worked on many Square Enix projects going all the way back to Final Fantasy VI which came out in 1994. The artist is seeking independent work, but he said he might continue to work with Square Enix on freelance projects. He clearly has a good relation with the company after 24 years, so anything can be worked out.
Final Fantasy releases November 29 on PS4 and Xbox One. Watch the first 40 minutes here.
