Stardew Valley
If any game has been close to my heart in the recent times, it has to Stardew Valley. It came as a blessing for a Harvest Moon fan like me. And now, since it’s on Nintendo Switch, it has to be the year’s one of the biggest launches. There might be other farming simulators out there with realism as their main priority with top notch visuals and rich sound effects. But all those could not match the amount of satisfaction that one receives while playing Stardew Valley. What’s even better is that the multiplayer mode will soon be released. The latest update even adds the functionality to record gameplays.
Splatoon 2
A few months back, we listed Splatoon 2 as one of the most anticipated Nintendo Switch titles of this year. The colorful team based third person shooter is back and looks like even more fun. Splatoon 2 keeps the spirit high with this new installment in the fast paced shooting. It has never shied away from being different from traditional shooters and that’s what makes it stand apart. Turning your foes into squids by swathing them in paint is pure joy. There’s even a decent multiplayer for you to munch on before you go online with your friends.

In this new game, our beloved plumber embarks on a new adventure and travels new places including urban landscapes with tall skyscrapers. You can make him jump higher using his hat.
