Geoff Goodman, principal designer at Blizzard revealed the upcoming changes to Roadhog and Winston. Posting on the official forums, Goodman revealed that bullet-spread from the Scrap Gun will be decreased. That should let Roadhog blast targets in close-quarters with ease when not relying on his hook.
To balance this change, Blizzard will increase the pull-distance and cooldown on the Chain Hook. This will let targets to be pulled to a location further from Roadhog than before.
Roadhog
- Scrap Gun: Spread reduced by 20 percent
- Chain Hook: Targets are now pulled to a location 3.5 meters away, up from 2 meters.
- Chain Hook: Cooldown increased from 6 to 8
Blizzard also promises an important change to another hero, Winston. The head size of the genetically engineered gorilla will be decreased to counter critical hits.
Winston
- Critical hit volume decreased by 15 percent
