Blizzard To Bring More Changes To Overwatch’s Roadhog and Winston

Geoff Goodman, principal designer at Blizzard revealed the upcoming changes to Roadhog and Winston. Posting on the official forums, Goodman revealed that bullet-spread from the Scrap Gun will be decreased. That should let Roadhog blast targets in close-quarters with ease when not relying on his hook.

To balance this change, Blizzard will increase the pull-distance and cooldown on the Chain Hook. This will let targets to be pulled to a location further from Roadhog than before.

Roadhog

  • Scrap Gun: Spread reduced by 20 percent
  • Chain Hook: Targets are now pulled to a location 3.5 meters away, up from 2 meters.
  • Chain Hook: Cooldown increased from 6 to 8

Blizzard also promises an important change to another hero, Winston. The head size of the genetically engineered gorilla will be decreased to counter critical hits.

Winston

  • Critical hit volume decreased by 15 percent
