This is what Call of Duty developer Infinity Ward has to say. Well, not exactly.
In a recent tweet wishing all the fans New Year, Infinity Ward says that 2016 “Is Going to Be Incredible”. Activision announced that the Call of Duty franchise will be going under three-year, three-studio development cycle. After the release of Black Ops 3 from Treyarch, this year it’s time for Infinity Ward what they have in store for the decade old franchise.
The tweet could simply mean well-wishes for this year or it could be some kind of hint for Call of Duty 2016. Infinity Ward’s last game was Ghosts which didn’t do well among the fans and critics. Let’s see how well it goes this time.
There are many speculations regarding this year’s entry. Some fans think that the franchise could be going outer space. Others think maybe it’s time that Call of Duty returned to its roots. I won’t mind a Call of Duty powered by the current-gen hardware and an in-depth plot. What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
