Ubisoft isn’t the only gaming publisher optimistic about the Nintendo NX. Take-Two Interactive, responsible for publishing GTA, XCOM and Bioshock among other big franchises is “enthusiastic” about Nintendo’s next gaming system.
“We’re believers. We never want to count Nintendo out. They do it over and over and over again. So we feel pretty enthusiastic really.”, said Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick. He went into detail about his take on the Wii U’s commercial failure: “It’s not a slump, it’s intentional. They come to market, they do really well, and then they sort of exit the market for a period of time.”
It has been a while since Take-Two has worked with Nintendo, mainly because Nintendo’s hardware hasn’t been able to handle the games Take-Two likes to publish. Everyone’s hope is the NX will finally change that.
