Beyond Good & Evil and Rayman creator Michel Ancel took to Instagram to talk about his upcoming project, Beyond Good & Evil 2, which he says wasn’t possible to make how he envisioned it until modern times.
He posted a picture of the character designs he was working with in 2008, which were never made public until now, and said he wanted to do “planet exploration, space travel, cities…”, but the game kept having technical issues. So he went back to working on 2D with the spectacular Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends, and now he’s fully working on Beyond Good & Evil 2, claiming “now the tech is ready and the team is fantastic”.
Beyond Good and Evil 2 has been highly anticipated by fans since the original game’s 2003 release and since a teaser was posted in 2008. The first game became a classic because of its great level design and atmosphere.
