Pokemon GO Player Quits His Job to Play The Game

Tom Currie, 24-year-old man, Pokémon Go player from New Zealand quit his job to begin a two-month trip accross his country to, quite literally, catch ’em all. The man booked 20 bus trips and is planning to visit the entirety of New Zealand to become a Pokemon GO Master.

He has visited six towns already, and has caught 90 of the 151 Pokemon in the game. “I wanted to have an adventure”, he said. “I’ve been working for six years and I was desperate for a break”.

Tom Currie is the real-life embodiment of the main characters in Pokemon games, who leave their family home to go on a road-trip adventure to catch them all. Kudos to you, sir.
