Resident Evil 7 Support for Xbox One to PC Save Crossover

The upcoming Capcom Game Resident Evil 7: Biohazard will support cross-save system between the Microsoft Xbox One and the PC version of the game. This means for the owners of both an Xbox One and a PC the ease of switching to the other platform and start playing the game where you left off.

Dengeki a Japanese website first reported this stating “the Windows Store version can share play data with the Xbox One version.” Which was also confirmed in a statement by Capcom.

The ‘Play Anywhere’ program a Microsoft scheme which lets Xbox One version of exclusive titles also bags you a PC copy. But, this is for Xbox exclusives and so far it doesn’t seem Capcom and Microsoft have confirmed Resident Evil 7 as a ‘Play Anywhere’ title.

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is a first person survival horror game which will be out in 2017 for Xbox One, PC and PlayStation.
